What is FUToURISM?
FUToURISM is an INTERREG IIIC funded project that seeks to instigate the sustainable development of five European regions in Greece, France, Slovenia, Malta and the BMW Region in Ireland. The project focuses on the exchange of experiences and the joint development of concepts that help to develop the primary (natural) and secondary (artificial) potentials of tourism destinations in an integrated and sustainable way.
Tourism regions in five European countries have formed this unique and innovative partnership which aims to strengthen rural tourism potentials whilst addressing the many challenges that rural tourism development may produce.
Tourism potentials will be increased by exchanging ideas and exploring concepts surrounding five themes:

- Reducing the negative impact of tourism on regional development.
- Strengthening the development of tourism structures.
- Sustaining long - term interregional cooperation
